Frequency: One or more scholarships awarded every year at the discretion of the Board.
Criteria: The Scholarship is awarded preferably to a resident from Charlotte County, New Brunswick accepted to the Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick program. If a qualifying student is not available from Charlotte County, the Scholarship(s) will be awarded to another New Brunswick resident.

Criteria: The Scholarship is awarded preferably to a resident of the Upper Saint John River Valley, New Brunswick accepted to any New Brunswick medical school program. If a qualifying student is not found in the Upper Saint John River Valley area, the scholarship can be given to a any resident of New Brunswick.

Criteria: The Scholarship is awarded preferably to a resident from the City of Saint John or greater Saint John area (Grand Bay, Quispamsis, Rothesay, Renforth) New Brunswick accepted to any accredited medical school leading to the degree of medical doctor. If a qualifying student is not available from Saint John or the greater Saint John area, the scholarship may be given to any resident of New Brunswick.

Criteria: The Scholarship is awarded to a 4th year undergraduate student from the Greater Fredericton area, studying at any accredited medical school, pursuing studies in medical education leading to the degree of medical doctor. If a qualifying student cannot be found in the Greater Fredericton area, the scholarship will be awarded to another qualified New Brunswick resident.

Frequency: One scholarship is active each year at the discretion of the Board.
Criteria: This scholarship for residents of Grand Bay-Westfield, Saint John, Rothesay, Quispamsis and Hampton to attend Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick. In return for a bursary each year, they must pledge and equal amount time to practice medicine in the aforementioned communities.

The Steeves Family Medical Education Scholarship

Frequency: One (1) scholarship awarded each year at the discretion of the Board.
Criteria: The scholarship is to support the studies of an Indigenous New Brunswick resident including band council members who may not live in the province but have committed to pursuing studies leading to the degree of Medical Doctor. The recipient must agree to a one-year return of service in the Province of New Brunswick for each year of support they receive up to four years for the Medical Doctor program at Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick located at the University of New Brunswick Saint John Campus.
